You can try to use system process monitor available for your device, if there are some process running unknown  and unrecognized, it may be spyware or hijacker running without notice. In Windows environment you can call taskmgr (Task Manager)

There are some free tools that we can use to detect such softwares, however to remove them sometime we need to buy the license.
